Hermes Vintage "Frontaux et Cocardes" silk twill scarf designed by Caty Latham in a kelly green colorway.

This first-issue scarf from 1968 is bold and dramatic in design and perfect for the horse lover. It depicts a carriage horse dressed in a ceremonial harness decorated with intricate rosettes. This design was late reissued and featured two copyright symbols. This scarf is the original 1968 issue, as it only has one copyright symbol.

Fabric: Silk twill

Origin: France

Condition: Vintage- Mint; few pulls in lower righthand corner and bridge of horse's nose. Hems are plump and silk still drapes beautifully. Caretags read "100% Silk" and "Made in France exclusively for Bonwit Teller"
