Say “non!” to fakes

The French are getting serious about fakes. According to Women’s Wear Daily, new campaign featuring the Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Christian Dior, Lacoste, Longchamp and Van Cleef & Arpels.

They’re drawing serious attention the dirty business that creates and sells counterfeits.

The best slogan: “Buy a fake Cartier, get a genuine criminal record.”

They’re serious — buying or carrying fakes in France can cost you a fine equivalent to a lifetime supply of Birkins ($373,000) and possible jail time.

We love a country that accepts no imitations.
