Nicknamed "The President" after Rolex gave one to Dwight Eisenhower, the Day-Date, the company's flagship model, is the most recognizable elite, luxury watch in the world. Examples can be found adorning prominent wrists around Hollywood (Tom Cruise's, Sean Penn's, Ray Liotta's, and Danny DeVito's to name a few) and in boardrooms around the world. To own a President is to claim a true distinction. Created in 1956, the President embodies the qualities sought after by successful, active men: elegance, sporty design, precision, and robust capabilities. They are impervious to water and feature day and date capabilities.
The 18K gold case is in excellent condition. The champagne Rolex dial with custom added diamonds is in near perfect condition. The original Rolex Presidential bracelet is in very good condition. And the day-date movement is clean and pristine, appearing nearly as if it just emerged from Rolex's workshops in Geneva.
