This authentic Louis Vuitton antique steamer trunk, which features its original interior tray insert, is an amazing antique, as well as collectible. General travel wear and the original owner's initials, monogrammed on each side under the handles, give this trunk lots of character making it a collector's dream!

* Secured with two draw-bolts and center lock (key NOT included)
* Personalized with original owner's initials "M.R.R." and red/black/white stripe
* Original tray insert with covered compartments on sides and straps for securing garments
* Signature criss-cross pattern on interior lid
* Protective metal feet
* 40"L x 21"W x 13"H
Condition:
Overall, this trunk is in most excellent structural condition. The exterior monogram canvas shows normal travel wear expected of a trunk this age. Leather trim is cracking and has fallen off in some places. Furthermore, leather strap is missing on front and back sides. All the tacks, rivets and buckles are intact. Brass handles remain strong and intact. Original wooden slats are present and have a nice rich patina. Bottom is missing front right metal foot. The interior is in overall great condition, though displays staining primarily on left side, that appears to be a result of water damage. Interior tray insert is included and is in overall good condition. Most of criss-cross ribbon pattern intact, however there are a few loose or missing pieces (see picture). Lock and latches are in working condition though display general tarnish and rust, as well as key for lock is missing. Please see ALL pictures for visual details.
