Apparently the fashion world couldn’t wait for the release of the new “Great Gatsby” film with Leonardo DiCaprio to be released to pay homage to the world of Daisy Buchanan.
The 1920s are having a 21st century moment this spring on the runways of Gucci, Oscar de la Renta, The Row, Ralph Lauren, Marchesa and Etro.
These reinvented looks range from jazz age flapper to more masculine pants and loose-fitting blazers. Accessories can really flash back with gloves, pearls, cloches, cocktail rings and anything with feathers. We’re especially obsessed with the small square or rectangular bags (see this Louis Vuitton) and vintage Deco pieces.
