Curator Pick of the Week: Hermès Évelyne Shoulder Bag

Meet your new everyday it-bag.

While your Birkin sits in the closet, the Hermès Évelyne is a bag you can carry everyday. So says the New York Times Style section, which detailed the crossbody’s surging popularity.

According to the article, the bag was “designed in 1978 to carry grooming equipment” and named for Évelyne Bertrand, the head of the riding department. Practical from the get-go — and it only took 30-some years to have its moment.

We have two of them just in — in classic black Clemence leather and perfect-for-spring sky blue.

You can carry your iPad, wallet, a bottle of water and anything else while your hands are free to keep texting.
